Product Update: New Integrations for Enterprise Clients

We are constantly looking for new integrations to improve our clients’ experience. For our enterprise clients, who own or manage larger portfolios (usually 100+ properties), our approach is tailored: we work with each one individually to understand their needs and offer solutions that make sense in their context.

That’s why we’re so excited about these new integrations: accounting, smart locks, and smart thermostats. Now clients can control access to their properties, the temperature before, during and after cleanings, and sync TIDY and their accounting system.

Access instructions and smart locks integration

Access instructions are fundamental for a successful cleaning job. Your Pro needs to know in detail where to park, how to access the property and if are any specifics they should be aware of.

This is information that has been available in the app under each listing and must be completed.

Now, you can also integrate your smart lock system with TIDY, ensuring that your properties are safely locked after a job, for example. Other than that, here are some actions you can take:

  • Automatically providing one-time access codes to Pros
  • Automatically disabling their access to the property once the job is completed
  • Automatically update access instructions whenever there is a smart lock settings update

We have always advised against giving Pros keys to the property, and we understand that it was somewhat of a hassle to let them in to complete the job. Now, with one-time codes and automations galore, cleaning and maintenance processes will run even more smoothly.

Smart Thermostat Integrations

Smart thermostats were always right there next to smart locks in number of requests for integrations from our clients. It’s finally here. So now, if you have properties in the middle of Arizona and want to keep your electric bill in check, you can.

Integrating with smart thermostats means that you can set the temperature for cleaning jobs to ensure the Pros is comfortable during their time at the property and set it right back to where it was to save on your bill.

Those can be set to occur automatically, so for example:

  • 1 hour before each cleaning job, set the temperature to 74F
  • As soon as the job is marked completed on TIDY, set the temperature back to 80F

You can also make such adjustments considering guests’ check-in and check-out, for example, and more.
