Manage Your Account
Your TIDY for Pros account gives you complete control over how you run your business. From the settings section of your app, you can customize nearly every aspect of your professional profile, services, and business operations.
Accessing Account Settings
To access your account settings, open the TIDY for Pros app and navigate to the Settings or Account section from the main menu. Here you'll find all the tools you need to manage your business profile and preferences.
What You Can Control
Business Profile
- Business name and description: How your business appears to clients
- Profile photo: Upload a professional photo that represents your business
- Contact information: Phone number, email, and preferred contact methods
- Business hours: When you're available to respond to inquiries
Services & Pricing
- Services offered: Select which home services you provide (cleaning, maintenance, etc.)
- Custom services: Add specialized services unique to your business
- Rates and pricing: Set your hourly rates or flat fees for each service
- Pricing strategy: Adjust rates based on market feedback

Service Area & Availability
- Service area: Define the geographic area where you work
- Maximum drive time: Set the farthest you're willing to travel for jobs
- Blocked zipcodes: Exclude specific areas from your service radius

- Time off: Block out dates when you're unavailable

Account Security
Password & Login
Keep your account secure by using a strong password and updating it regularly. You can change your password at any time from the account settings section.
Two-Factor Authentication
For added security, consider enabling two-factor authentication (if available). This adds an extra layer of protection to your account by requiring a verification code in addition to your password.
Privacy Settings
Control what information is visible to clients and how your data is used. TIDY takes your privacy seriously and gives you control over your personal information.

Updating Your Settings
To update any account setting:
- Open the TIDY for Pros app
- Navigate to Settings or Account
- Find the setting you want to change
- Make your changes
- Save or confirm your updates
Most changes take effect immediately, though some (like service area changes) may require a brief review period.
Account Status
You can view your account status in the settings section, including:
- Verification status: Whether your background check and documents are approved
- Payment processor status: If you're approved to accept credit cards
- Membership tier: Your current plan and features
- Account standing: Any issues or alerts that need attention
Pausing or Deactivating Your Account
If you need to take a break from TIDY, you can temporarily pause your account or deactivate it completely. Pausing your account will stop new job requests but preserve your profile and history. Deactivating will remove you from the platform.
