Transactions & Bank Connection

Connect your bank accounts and TIDY brings every transaction into one feed — the money coming in (guest payouts, rent) and the money going out (cleaning, inspections, supplies, repairs) — so your books reflect what actually happened, not a spreadsheet you maintain by hand.

Connecting Accounts

Use Add Account to securely connect a bank account. A header shows how many accounts are connected. Once connected, transactions flow in automatically — you don’t enter them by hand.

The Transaction Feed

Each transaction shows its:

Date and amount (a credit for money in, a debit for money out).
Type — Credit or Debit.
Description — what it was and which property it relates to (for example, “Guest Payout — Palmetto House” or “Cleaning Service — Ferncreek Rooming House”).

This is the foundation of your books. Connected transactions feed your Monthly P&L, alongside the rent you collect in Rent Collection and what you pay pros in Bills — so income, expenses, and net operating income stay accurate per property.
