Inspections
There are several ways TIDY can help you complete inspections. We help support two types of inspections:



- Inspections While Doing Other Jobs
- Stand-Alone Inspections
To add inspection features to existing jobs, as well as prepare a dedicated inspection checklist, you can do this using 2 different tools that we offer Remote Inspections and Custom Fields.
Remote Inspection
Our "Remote Inspection" feature requires the pro using one of your digital checklists to take photos or videos of each room before the job, after the job, or both.
When you have the Remote Inspection setting enabled, your pros will submit photos and videos per your instructions. Then, you will get them in a report after the job. We describe this in the Remote Inspections documentation.


In order for the Remote Inspection to work, at least one checklist item needs to be added to the list. A pop-up will appear whenever you create a list with inspection that hasn't a checklist item added yet.

Checklist Items and Custom Fields
Another option you have is to use custom fields on your checklist items. This requires your users to input data and deliver it back to you during the job on the checklist. This is great if you need an inspector or other pro to answer questions like "Is there mold?" "How many plates are there?" "How would you rate the condition of X?".
