TIDY 6.17 improves the onboarding experience, extends workflow notifications to all account members, gives the AI support agent new capabilities, upgrades identity verification for pros, and fixes a range of booking, checklist, and mobile issues.

New Features & Improvements

  • Onboarding polish:Completing onboarding steps now shows a confetti celebration. The add-property modal has a refreshed design with clearer guidance, and the connect-listing step now shows a “Start Here” indicator so new users know exactly where to begin.
  • Workflow notifications for all account members: Workflow notifications can now be sent to customer members on an account, not just the primary account holder. You can choose to notify all members or target specific people.
  • AI agent can swap a pro on a single booking:The TIDY support AI can now handle “I want a different pro for this one visit” requests directly, without needing to escalate to a human. Use the permanent block-pro option if you want to remove a pro from all future bookings.
  • Upgraded identity verification with Didit: Pro identity verification now uses Didit instead of Stripe Identity. Didit supports US documents only (improving approval accuracy) and delivers a smoother check-in selfie experience.
  • Better address deletion guidance for Airbnb, VRBO & Booking: When you try to delete an address connected to an Airbnb, VRBO, or Booking integration, you're now routed to concierge support instead of seeing a confusing error — since there's no separate PMS portal to manage those addresses.
  • Light mode visibility improvements: Several colors in the app were adjusted to improve contrast and readability in light mode.
  • AI agent better understands prepayments: The support AI can now distinguish a prepayment for an upcoming booking from a settlement of a completed one, reducing incorrect escalations when customers ask about charges.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where enabling or updating automatic booking settings caused new automatic bookings to silently fail. Affected bookings have been recovered.
  • Fixed “Copy Checklist” failing with a rate limit error when a checklist had many items.
  • Fixed the “Add Checklist” button doing nothing after toggling Remote Inspection on and then off.
  • Fixed a crash on the message thread screen when pro profile data was missing.
  • Fixed a crash in the notification center when the form group was not properly initialized.
  • Fixed a crash on the task page caused by an uninitialized root reference.
  • Fixed a crash when attempting to reschedule a booking whose most recent job was already completed or cancelled.
  • Fixed the emergency cleaning date filter returning errors for homekeepers in European, African, and Asian timezones.
  • Fixed a payment charge failure when a saved payment method had been detached from the account.

TIDY 6.17 brings Digital Guidebook improvements, PMS and guest data enhancements, AI support agent upgrades, and a substantial set of reliability and bug fixes across the web and mobile apps.

New Features & Improvements

  • Digital Guidebook Improvements: The Digital Guidebook is now surfaced in the getting started flow and the dedicated guidebook section, making it easier for guests to access property-specific instructions. The frontend integrates directly with address-level guidebook data for a more tailored experience.
  • Upgrades & 11-Star Quality Sections: Two new sections have been added to the property view — an Upgrades section and an 11-Star Quality section — so property managers can highlight premium offerings and document the special touches customers can expect.
  • AI Support Agent Improvements: The AI support agent now routes service and maintenance questions correctly instead of redirecting off-topic. Ambiguous short messages trigger skill disambiguators before escalating to a human, and booking times now display in the user's local timezone for clearer communication.
  • Guest Message Routing in Shared Inbox: Fixed guest message routing in the shared inbox so messages reach the right conversation thread. Also improved the bank transaction page with additional trust language and an option to skip for customers who want to set up payment details later.
  • Airbnb/VRBO/Booking.com Deactivation Guard: Customers are now prevented from accidentally deactivating their Airbnb, VRBO, or Booking.com PMS integrations, protecting against unintentional sync interruptions.
  • Guest Name Accuracy: Fixed two issues affecting how guest names appear in the shared inbox — Airbnb guests with a single-token name no longer have their first name duplicated in the last name field, and the platform now keeps the fuller reservation name over a shorter conversation-level first name for better guest identification.
  • Address Listing Status Accuracy: Fixed an issue where a property's listing status was not being updated correctly during guest reservation source syncs.

Bug Fixes

  • Video Uploads on Past Jobs: Fixed an issue preventing customers from uploading videos to past job records.
  • Booking Links Routing Correctly: Fixed an issue where app.tidy.com booking links were redirecting to the marketing homepage instead of opening the booking flow. Public job URL links that were incorrectly redirecting to the sign-in page are also now resolved.
  • Guest Messages Load on Messages Page: Fixed a crash on the messages page when viewing guest or guest_reservation chat rooms from the TIDY PMS integration. These conversations now display correctly alongside other message threads.
  • SMS/Calls on Managed Workplace Jobs: Fixed an issue preventing SMS and calls from going through on managed workplace jobs.
  • Pro SMS Routing Fix: Fixed a bug where cleaning professionals received a "You've reached a TIDY number" error when replying to concierge SMS messages, caused by a duplicate homekeeper account sharing the same phone number. 279 affected chat rooms have been repaired.
  • VOR Quote Acceptance: Fixed an issue where accepting a VOR quote showed no confirmation screen after the Review Booking step.
  • Send Job Request for Non-English Accounts: Fixed an issue where the Send Job Request submit button silently did nothing for users with non-English language settings.
  • Pro Background Check Submission: Fixed a bug where background check submissions via TURN could fail with a callback URL error, blocking pros from completing their verification.
  • Listing Optimization Connectivity: Fixed a "Lost connection" error that appeared when accessing Airbnb multicalendar and host-dashboard URLs from the Listing Optimization page.
  • Pro App: Not Available for Repeat Clients: Fixed an issue where the "Not Available for Repeat Clients" setting was displayed incorrectly on pros' accounts.
  • Limited Pro Dashboard on First Login: Fixed an issue where Limited Pro accounts would see all dashboard options on their very first login, before they should be visible.
  • Pro Change Address: Fixed an issue where the "Confirm Change" button on the Pro Change Address page silently did nothing when the form had invalid data instead of showing a validation error.
  • Pro App Login Redirect: Fixed an intermittent issue where the pro app login and signup pages would redirect to the homepage mid-typing, interrupting the sign-in flow.
  • Pro Can't Open Today's Job Before 5 AM: Fixed a silent dead-click issue that prevented cleaning professionals from opening their current day's job from the app before 5 AM.
  • Property Edit Icon in Light Mode: Fixed an issue where the property edit icon was not visible when the app was in light mode.
  • Monthly Calendar Layout: Fixed an issue where monthly calendar data was being cut off on the sides of the screen.
  • Checklist Section Names: Fixed a bug where checklist section names were missing when a section contained only notes or photos and no task items.
  • Low Inventory Items Not Displaying: Fixed an issue where low inventory items were not appearing correctly from the Overview page.
  • Concierge Ticket Attachments: Fixed a bug where concierge support tickets were dropped when an attachment filename contained a space.
  • Feedback on Cancelled Jobs: Fixed a 500 error that occurred when a customer tried to post feedback on a cancelled job.
  • Customer Account Without Address Listing All Pros: Fixed an issue where a customer account with no address attached would incorrectly list all pros instead of showing an empty state.
  • Sign-In 502 Error: Fixed a 502 Bad Gateway error that some customers encountered when trying to sign in or reset their password.
  • Onboarding Mock Data: Fixed an issue where mock data used during onboarding did not hide immediately after dismissing the onboarding prompts.
  • App Stability: Resolved several crash fixes surfaced via Sentry across the past-job page and map dashboard on both web and mobile.

TIDY 6.16 expands what pros can see when reviewing job requests, surfaces pro performance history on quote cards, lets pros add profile documentation, and resolves a set of mobile performance and stability issues.

New Features & Improvements

  • More property context on job requests: Pros can now see square footage, bedroom count, and bathroom count when reviewing incoming job requests — giving them the information they need to evaluate and quote accurately.
  • Pro performance stats on quotes:When you receive a quote, you can now view the pro's performance history directly on the quote card — making it easier to compare and choose with confidence.
  • Pros can add profile documentation: Pros can now attach links and supporting documents to their profile to share more context about their background and qualifications. Submissions are reviewed before going live.

Bug Fixes

  • Job list loading performance: Fixed a critical performance issue where the job list was taking over 20 seconds to load or failing to load at all.
  • Booking cancellation after pro replacement: Fixed an issue where customers were blocked from cancelling a job after a pro replacement left the job in a stale status.
  • Mobile schedule scrolling:Fixed two separate scroll bugs — Android users couldn't scroll down through the Schedule page, and all mobile users couldn't swipe horizontally to view future days.
  • Maintenance page missing on mobile: Fixed the Maintenance page not appearing in the footer or More menu on mobile and native apps; it now navigates correctly.
  • Incorrect job type on Job Issue page: Fixed a display bug where the wrong service type label was shown on the Job Issue page.
  • Duplicate Take Inventory actions:Fixed a bug where tapping the inline “+ Inventory” button on a checklist task created duplicate Take Inventory custom actions on every subsequent tap.
  • Mobile app crash fixes: Resolved several crash bugs in the mobile app, including crashes on the payment form, the bills page, the Go to Pro screen, and when dismissing certain pages.

This one is mostly a collection of smaller things. Creating an account should feel faster. Concierge messages can carry attachments now. Most of the rest is us fixing cancellation, checklist, payment, and mobile flows that could put somebody in a weird spot.

New Features & Improvements

  • Faster account creation

We removed an unnecessary wait from account creation. Signing up and logging in should get you into the app faster.

  • Onboarding cleanup

There is not one giant change here. We cleaned up several awkward points in the first-run setup so the whole thing should feel less fussy.

  • Concierge attachments

Email and SMS conversations with Concierge now support attachments. You can put the photo, document, or other file in the same thread instead of sending it separately.

Bug Fixes

  • Cancellation flows:Fixed an issue where the “Confirm Cancellation” button could fail with a 404, where some jobs couldn’t be cancelled at all, and where the Cancel Plan modal was missing its body text.
  • Skip & Reschedule: Fixed an issue where the Skip Job and Reschedule Job buttons in the side panel could fail on the first click.
  • Side-panel destructive actions: Restored the missing confirmation popups across more than a dozen flows so destructive actions no longer fire silently.
  • Checklists: The Count Inventory field now correctly updates inventory when a Pro completes a job, and removing a custom field from an inline checklist edit now persists.
  • Payments & Subscriptions:Fixed an issue where the Subscribe page card form inputs were invisible in iOS Safari, and where pre-populated email and password fields on shared payment links couldn’t be edited.
  • Quotes:Vetted Outside Referral (VOR) quotes that did not have timeslots are now visible to customers, and a broken “blank page” link has been removed from VOR Job Quotes cards.
  • Mobile: Fixed a missing back button on the Bulk Upload and Backup Times screens that could trap users, removed a black space below text in Android chat, and corrected a Pro app issue where Jobs list and Future Job detail showed different customer names for accounts with a company name.
  • Search results positioning:“No results” messaging now appears at the top of the page where you’d expect it, instead of at the bottom.
  • Documentation link: Updated an outdated documentation link to point to the current page.
  • Concierge phone calls: Fixed phone call issues and an issue with looking up customer info at concierge that could block outgoing calls.

TIDY 6.16 ships fixes for several issues affecting how customers view dispute statuses, configure default checklists, and add payment methods via shared links.

Bug Fixes

  • Dispute resolution status: Fixed an issue where the dispute resolution page showed the wrong status, the job page displayed a false counter-proposal, and a chat link was missing. These now reflect the correct state.
  • Default checklists not saving: Fixed an issue where the Default Checklists modal only saved the originally configured duration — changing the duration would appear to save but revert on reload. All duration settings now persist correctly.
  • Payment method shared link: Fixed a dead-end error for customers without a last name who clicked a shared link to add a payment method. The flow now completes without requiring a profile update first.

TIDY 6.15 resolves a batch of mobile and app accessibility issues, improving reliability across chat, billing, scheduling, and authentication flows.

Bug Fixes

  • iOS message formatting: Fixed a display issue on iOS where messages appeared incorrectly formatted compared to desktop.
  • Bills page status filters on mobile: Fixed an issue where status filter chips were not appearing on the Bills page in the mobile app, making it impossible to filter bills by status on mobile.

  • Substitute request error message:Fixed an issue where the error "Cannot request substitute for a cancelled job" was displayed incorrectly in cases where it should not have appeared.
