Jobs
"Jobs" are things like a cleaning, any service you might book or manage on TIDY. We try to make it easy to:
- Book jobs with pros on the times they list as available to book
- Request Jobs for times that are not available
- View, edit and cancel jobs and job requests
- Review or get feedback on jobs
- Use Automatic Booking to request jobs automatically based on an integration.
- Use our API to request jobs.
- Use Zapier to request jobs.
- and more...
Types of Scheduling
There are three main ways to get jobs on your schedule:
One-Time Jobs
Select a service, property, date/time, and pro. One-time jobs can be rescheduled at any time before the job is completed.
Recurring Plans
Set up a plan with a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly frequency. Jobs are automatically created on your recurring schedule. You can assign multiple pros per frequency for added reliability.
Availability Requests
If you want to request a specific pro for certain dates and times, you can send them an availability request. This is useful when you're not sure if the pro is free and want to check before confirming.
- You select the dates and times that work for you
- The pro receives your request and can accept or propose different times
- If the pro suggests different times, you can accept their counter-offer or cancel the request
- Once both sides agree, the job is confirmed and appears on your schedule
Tip: Availability requests are especially useful for last-minute scheduling or when you need a specific pro who may have limited openings.
Managing Jobs
Once a job is on your schedule, you can take several actions from the Schedule page:
- View Details — Click any job to see its full details
- Reschedule — Change the date, time, pro, or service type
- Cancel or Skip — Cancel an upcoming job
- Mark Complete — Manually mark a job as finished if needed
- Request Substitute — Find a replacement pro if one cancels
- Edit Plan — Modify the recurring plan associated with the job
