Tips

Tipping in the app is easy and always up to you! Simply:

1. Leave them a positive review.
2. Select the tip amount that makes sense to you!

Most clients do not tip, and tipping is typically not required for service providers since you negotiated a price with them. Service providers set their rates so would not have accepted your job if it was not something they wanted. However, tips are appreciated for a job well done! We also recommend it for one-time jobs.

Editing or canceling a tip

You have 48 hours after leaving a tip to edit or cancel it until it becomes final. We realize that sometimes tips are made in mistake, and we give you the option to fix it.

Tipping on private jobs

The "Rate this job" tip flow only applies to jobs booked through TIDY’s normal job flow. If the job was a private job (booked directly with your pro outside that flow), this tip prompt won’t be available. Instead, you can send your pro money directly from My Pros: select the pro, then tap Send Payment. See Sending Job Payments for the full steps.
