🔗 How to connect TIDY to Hostaway

  1. Log into your Hostaway account.
  2. Go to Settings > Hostaway API.
  3. Under Hostaway Public API, click Create, give your key a name, and copy the API key.
⚠️ Note: The API key will only be shown once — make sure to save it immediately.
  1. Locate and copy your Account ID under Settings.
  2. In your TIDY account, go to More > Integrations.
  3. Search for Hostaway and click the tile.
  4. Scroll down and paste your API key and Account ID into the required fields.
  5. Click Add Integration.
Once connected:
  • All your Hostaway listings will be pulled into TIDY and added as properties.
  • For each property, you can enable Automatic Booking to schedule cleaning tasks based on check-in/check-out times and your preferred cleaning type.

⚙️ How the integration works

Once the integration is active, here’s what happens automatically:

  • Listings Sync: All listings from Hostaway are imported as addresses in your TIDY account.
  • Reservation Sync: When a new reservation is created or updated in Hostaway, it appears in your Reservations tab on TIDY.
  • Auto Booking: TIDY uses your Automatic Booking rules to schedule a turnover cleaning between each check-out and check-in.
  • Job Assignment: Cleaners listed under My Pros receive the opportunity to accept the job based on the order you set.
  • Cleaner Experience: Once assigned, the Pro receives job details, your instructions, the To-Do List (if available), and can communicate with you through the app.
  • Hostaway Status Update: When a cleaning is marked complete in TIDY, the clean status is automatically pushed to Hostaway.

Editing your property address

Direct Integration :

When adding/editing a listing on your Hostaway account, select the Address section and then update the Street field with the address.

Ical Integration:

On the section "More" of your app, select the option Properties, then the property you would like to edit. Select the notepad icon on the corner of your screen and write the updated information in the field Property Nickname.
